A jampacked crowd attended the free lecture on Rule 7 and 8 of the RIRR of PD1096.
More than 400 applicants to the June 2010 Architecture board exams attended the two day free lecture last June 3 and 4, 2010 at the UAP Teatro Arkitekto . The lecture conducted by Arch. Rey S. Gabitan focused on the Development Controls under Rules VII and Rule VIII of the Revised IRR of the National Building Code or PD 1096.
Examples on different building types on each zoning classification were given and claculations were given to determine the Allowable Maximum Building Footprint (AMBF), Maximum Percentage of Site Occupancy (PSO), Min Total Open Space within Lot (TOSL), Max Impervious Surface Area (ISA), Min Unpaved Surface Area (USA), Max Gross Floor Area (GFA), Max Total Gross Floor Area (TGFA), etc.
The lecture-workshop simulated the design problems given in the Licensure Examination for Architects.
